2027 SCSO State Tournament
The 2027 South Carolina Science Olympiad State Tournament is scheduled for Saturday, February 27, 2027. It will be hosted by Presbyterian College in Clinton for the third year. All registered Division B and Division C teams in the state of South Carolina are eligible to enter and compete at the state tournament. At this time, we are intending to run all 23 events from the national slate for both divisions. The state tournament will follow the national tournament conflict blocks.
The state champion from each division will earn South Carolina’s bid to the 43rd Science Olympiad National Tournament, which will be held on May 14–15 at Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.
